abstract | Disclosed is a liquid crystal polyester resin excellent in thin wall fluidity and toughness, and a molded product comprising the same. The structural unit derived from an aromatic hydroxycarboxylic acid is 15 to 80 mol%, the structural unit derived from an aromatic diol is 7 to 40 mol%, based on 100 mol% of all the structural units of the liquid crystal polyester resin. A liquid crystal polyester resin containing 7 to 40 mol% of a structural unit derived from an aromatic dicarboxylic acid, wherein the terminal structure represented by the following general formula (A) is 0.1% relative to 100 wt% of the liquid crystal polyester resin. Liquid crystal polyester resin containing 01 to 5% by weight. —O— (R 1 —O) n —R 2 (A) (In the general formula (A), n represents a range of 2 to 100. R 1 is a divalent hydrocarbon group having 2 to 10 carbon atoms, and R 2 is a monovalent hydrocarbon group having 1 to 30 carbon atoms.
