abstract | The present invention provides a coating composition having a high solid content excellent in finished appearance and corrosion resistance and a method for forming a multilayer coating film having a coating film obtained from the coating composition. An epoxy resin (A) having a hydroxyl value of 50 to 300 mgKOH / g, an alicyclic hydrocarbon resin (B), a polyisocyanate compound (C), and barium sulfate (D) having an average particle size of 0.01 to 5.0 μm. The epoxy resin (A) is 30 to 90 based on the total solid content of the epoxy resin (A), the alicyclic hydrocarbon resin (B), and the polyisocyanate compound (C). The alicyclic hydrocarbon resin (B) is 1 to 50% by mass, the polyisocyanate compound (C) is 1 to 30% by mass, and the barium sulfate (D) is 1 to 100% by mass. Two-component paint composition.
