titleOfInvention | Image resolution technology below diffraction limit and other imaging technologies |
abstract | An image resolution technique below the diffraction limit and other imaging techniques are provided. The present invention relates generally to sub-diffraction-limited image resolution techniques and other imaging techniques. In one aspect, the invention relates to determining and / or imaging light from two or more objects that are separated by a distance less than the diffraction limit of incident light. For example, these objects may be separated by a distance of less than about 1000 nm, and in the case of visible light, may be separated by a distance of less than about 300 nm. In one set of embodiments, these objects may be selectively activated. That is, one object can be activated to generate light without activating another object. The first object may be activated and determined (eg, by determining the light emitted from the object) and the second object may be activated and determined. These objects may be fixed to each other and / or fixed to a common object. [Selection] Figure 1A |
