A method for producing a microcapsule comprising a fragrance having at least an aldehyde group or a hydroxyl group, and its application, comprising the following steps (a) to (f): Step (a) is a step of preparing an oil phase containing a fragrance having at least an aldehyde group or a hydroxyl group and a polyisocyanate, Step (b) is a step of preparing an aqueous phase containing an emulsifier, and Step (c) is a polyfunctional amine. A step of preparing an aqueous solution in which water is dissolved, step (d) is a step of adding an oil phase to an aqueous phase and stirring and emulsifying, and step (e) is a step of adding the aqueous solution prepared in (c) to an emulsion. And (f) process is a process of heating and stirring the emulsion obtained in (e) to form microcapsules. [Selection figure] None
