abstract |
Various exemplary devices and methods for performing laparoscopic and minimally invasive surgery are provided. A surgical instrument 10 is shown that can implement several inherent advantages. The surgical stapling instrument is designed to manipulate and / or actuate the end effector 12 of various shapes and sizes operably attached thereto. The end effector includes an elongated channel 14 that forms the lower jaw 13 of the end effector.
