abstract | Provided are a burdock tea, a burdock tea leaf, and a production method of the burdock tea leaf having a new use. A burdock tea or a burdock tea leaf, which contains inulin and chlorogenic acid as active ingredients and is used for improving bowel movements or for improving obesity. The inulin content is preferably 2 to 80 mg / 100 g, the chlorogenic acid content is preferably 0.05 to 0.50 mg / 100 g, further contains melanoidin, and the absorbance at a wavelength of 460 nm is 0.020 to 1.400.
