abstract Provided is a phosphor wheel that has good manufacturability and reliability and can improve the efficiency of collecting fluorescence and reflected light. A phosphor wheel includes a substrate, an annular phosphor layer provided on the substrate, and a reflective film provided in a partial region on the annular phosphor layer. A diffusion layer is provided on the reflective film. The phosphor layer emits light containing red and green color light components, and the reflective film reflects blue color light incident from the light source.
