titleOfInvention Treatment method of waste acid generated in copper smelting
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste acid treatment method capable of reducing the amount of water contained in a sulfided starch and suppressing the cost required for drying. SOLUTION: A method for treating a waste acid containing heavy metals, sulfuric acid, and arsenic discharged by a water washing treatment of a copper smelting exhaust gas, the first sulfurized starch produced by adding a sulfiding agent to the waste acid. The first sulfurization step 4 to be recovered and the gypsum generated by adding a neutralizing agent to the clarified liquid obtained by removing the first sulfurized starch are removed, and then the sulfurizing agent is added to the final gypsum liquid obtained. And a second sulfurization step 6 for recovering the second sulfurized starch produced, and the water content of the second sulfurized starch is adjusted by the oxidation-reduction potential of the treatment liquid in the first sulfurization step 4.
