titleOfInvention Flow battery
abstract A flow battery capable of reducing conduction between a negative electrode and a positive electrode is provided. A flow battery according to an embodiment includes a positive electrode and a negative electrode, an electrode holding member, an electrolytic solution, and a generator. The electrode holding member is disposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode. The electrolytic solution contacts the positive electrode, the electrode holding member, and the negative electrode. The generating unit generates bubbles in the electrolytic solution. The electrode holding member includes a pressing portion that faces the first electrode that is one of the positive electrode and the negative electrode, and a plurality of protrusions that extend from the pressing portion toward the second electrode that is the other of the positive electrode and the negative electrode.
