abstract Disclosed is an intermediate transfer member that has excellent transferability to a paper type having surface irregularities and that does not cause abnormal discharge even during long-term paper passage in a low-temperature and low-humidity environment. An intermediate transfer member to which a toner image obtained by developing a latent image formed on an image carrier with toner is transferred, and the intermediate transfer member has at least a base layer and irregularities caused by spherical fine particles from the inside.
