abstract | The present invention provides an alkaline zinc secondary battery with excellent short circuit resistance. An alkaline zinc secondary battery comprising a microporous film, a zinc negative electrode, and an alkaline electrolyte, wherein the pore diameter (mode diameter) of the microporous film is less than 50 nm. (2) The alkaline zinc secondary battery according to the item (1), wherein the resin is a polyamide-based polymer, an olefin-based polymer or a mixture thereof.
