| abstract |
An information processing apparatus capable of generating a user profile reflecting the interest of a wider range of users. In an information processing apparatus, a keyword acquisition unit acquires a keyword. The first acquisition unit 52 acquires information of the explanatory text of the acquired keyword from the database. The summary sentence generation unit 58 sums up the explanatory sentences to generate a summary sentence. The extraction unit 60 extracts elements not included in the summary sentence from the explanation sentence. The output unit 62 outputs, to the user, an element that is not included in the summary sentence and then outputs the summary sentence.
