abstract |
An object of the present invention is to improve a cycle capacity retention rate regardless of complicated charge control. A method of manufacturing a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery includes at least the following (α), (β) and (δ). (Α) A unit cell including at least a positive electrode, a negative electrode, a gel film, and an electrolytic solution is prepared. (Β) Perform initial charge of the unit cell. (Δ) A finished battery is manufactured by processing the unit cell after the initial charge. The negative electrode contains at least a negative electrode active material. The gel film is formed on the surface of the negative electrode. The gel membrane comprises a polymeric material and an electrolyte. The gel membrane is thixotropic. With the gel membrane under a first pressure, an initial charge is performed. Processing is applied such that the gel membrane is placed under a second pressure.
