abstract | To provide a sealing agent for a liquid crystal display element which can be cured at a low temperature and is excellent in storage stability and adhesiveness. The present invention also provides a vertical conduction material and a liquid crystal display element manufactured using the sealing agent for a liquid crystal display element. A sealing agent for a liquid crystal display device containing a curable resin and a radical polymerization initiator, wherein the curable resin comprises a compound having an ethylenically unsaturated bond, and a compound having a thiol group.
