A lubricating oil composition for a buffer comprising a base oil, a primary dialkyl dithiophosphate having an alkyl chain length of 6 or less, and oleic acid, wherein the alkyl chain length is 6 or less. The content of zinc class dialkyldithiophosphate is 0.01% by mass or more and 3% by mass or less based on the total amount of the composition, and the content of oleic acid is 0.01% by mass or more based on the total amount of the composition It is 3% by mass or less.
