abstract An object of the present invention is to provide a capacitor excellent in high voltage and high energy density by enhancing voltage resistance. A capacitor of the present invention comprises at least a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and an electrolyte. The positive electrode includes a positive electrode active material, and the negative electrode includes a negative electrode active material, and at least the negative electrode active material is at least selected from the group consisting of an OH group, a COOH group, and an N group on an edge surface of carbon atoms.
