PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a laser marking molded article capable of producing a foam molded article having a groove portion excellent in visibility on the surface by a simple method. SOLUTION: A groove is formed by irradiating a surface of a foam-molded article having a foam layer containing foam particles having an average particle diameter of 20 μm to 700 μm and skin layers formed on both sides of the foam layer. And the groove portion penetrates one of the skin layers, and the foam layer is removed by 40 μm or more in depth, and the foam layer is exposed. It is a manufacturing method.
