abstract |
A fusion drawn glass laminate structure is provided that includes at least one photo-machinable layer. A glass laminate having a core layer interposed between a first cladding layer and a second cladding layer, wherein the first cladding layer has a first cladding photosensitivity. The first cladding glass composition is formed, the second cladding layer is formed of a second cladding glass composition having a second cladding photosensitivity, and the core layer is formed of the first cladding photosensitivity and the second cladding layer. A glass structure characterized in that it is formed from a core glass composition having a core photosensitivity which is different from the second clad photosensitivity and is other than zero.
