abstract |
The present invention provides a technique for improving the image quality of an image generated by utilizing radiation of multiple energies. An image processing apparatus includes an acquisition unit for acquiring low energy information and high energy information from a plurality of images obtained by irradiating a subject with radiation, and an effective atom from low energy information and high energy information. A calculation unit that calculates a number and an area density, and a generation unit that generates an image having color information based on the effective atomic number and the area density.
