abstract | The present invention provides a method capable of stably and continuously producing a polarizing film while suppressing adhesion of precipitates deposited from a treatment liquid used for wet treatment of a polyvinyl alcohol-based resin film to the film. A method for producing a polarizing film from a polyvinyl alcohol-based resin film, which comprises a plurality of rolls, and includes the above polyvinyl chloride along a transport path passing through a first processing tank containing an organic solvent-containing processing solution. There is provided a method including the steps of: conveying the alcohol-based resin film; and immersing the polyvinyl alcohol-based resin film in the organic solvent-containing treatment liquid; and dropping the liquid into the first treatment tank.
