abstract An object of the present invention is to provide a remedy for maintaining a well-balanced skin resident bacterial flora and a cosmetic or a skin external preparation characterized by containing the same. The present inventors have improved the balance of Propionibacterium acnes and reduced the genus Corynebacterium for users with American oil palm (Elaeis oleifera) fruit oil having a Simpson Index of skin resident microflora less than 0.7. In addition, they have found that they further improve skin tears, textures and wrinkles, and the present invention has been achieved. 【Selection chart】 None
