abstract | An optical sensor cover having ultraviolet light transmission and pressure resistance suitable as a front cover of a photomultiplier tube protective case is provided. An optical sensor cover (10) according to the present invention comprises a substantially hemispherical plate-like molded transparent resin having ultraviolet light permeability, which protects a light receiving surface of a photomultiplier, and at least a crown (11T). The light transmittance at a wavelength of 300 nm is 60% or more, and has a pressure resistance that does not break when the entire surface of the hemispherical main body (11) is pressurized at a pressure of 3 MPa.
