titleOfInvention | Toner manufacturing method, developer manufacturing method, and image forming method |
abstract | Provided is a toner production method that not only has excellent low-temperature fixability but also has excellent blocking resistance. A toner manufacturing method including a droplet discharge step of discharging a toner composition liquid into droplets from at least one discharge hole, wherein the toner formed from the toner composition liquid contains a binder resin. The binder resin contains crystalline polyester and amorphous polyester, and is obtained by removing tetrahydrofuran by heating from an extraction solution obtained by extracting the binder resin from the toner using tetrahydrofuran. The molded article has a spherical domain of the crystalline polyester, and the toner has a mean particle size of 7.0 μm or less. [Selection] Figure 1 |
