abstract | [PROBLEMS] To provide a foaming detergent mixed with diluting water, exhibiting excellent foaming power and retention, and excellent chlorine stability when stored for a long time in a high temperature environment. Provided is a cleaning composition with high storage stability exemplified by the suppression of gas generation. SOLUTION: (A) an alkali agent, (B) an anionic surfactant, (C) an alkyl dimethylamine oxide having an alkyl group or an alkylene group having 8 to 18 carbon atoms, and (D) an aromatic carboxylic acid. Or a salt thereof, (E) a chlorine-based oxidant, (F) a phosphonoalkanetricarboxylic acid or a salt thereof, (G) an alkaline earth metal salt, and (H) water. The content of the group carboxylic acid or a salt thereof is 0.5 to 12.0% by mass, and the content of the (F) phosphonoalkanetricarboxylic acid or a salt thereof is 0.05 to 1.8% by mass.
