Disclosed is an ink jet method including metal nanoparticles, a polymer dispersant capable of adsorbing to the metal nanoparticles, an anionic resin emulsion, and a water-soluble organic solvent having a boiling point of 150 ° C. or higher and 330 ° C. or lower. It relates to a possible water-based ink. The content of the water-soluble organic solvent is 20% by mass or more and 50% by mass or less with respect to the total mass of the water-based ink.
