abstract | In a gaming machine, when a power supply of a voltage generation circuit for an image processing means constituting an effect control device is stopped, malfunction of a storage means is prevented. In the gaming machine, the effect control means includes a storage means for storing image information, an image processing means for processing the image information, and a voltage capable of generating a voltage to be supplied to the storage means and the image processing means. Generating means, wherein the voltage generating means generates a first output voltage to be applied to the image processing means and outputs a first operation permission signal when the first output voltage falls within a first predetermined voltage range. A first voltage generation circuit; and a second voltage generation circuit that generates a second output voltage to be applied to the storage means when the first operation permission signal is input. When the first output voltage is outside the first predetermined voltage range, the output of the first operation permission signal is stopped, thereby stopping the generation of the second output voltage by the second voltage generation circuit.
