abstract The present invention provides a method for producing a wood decomposition product containing fulvic acid from raw wood containing hardwood. [Solution] A method for producing a wood decomposition product, comprising the steps of inoculating a white rot fungus on a raw material wood containing hardwood and decomposing the raw material wood to obtain a wood decomposition product containing fulvic acid. As the white rot fungus, the white rot fungus specified by the accession number NITE P-02428 is preferable. The raw wood is preferably cucumber or birch, and is preferably used after pulverized into a chipper shape and defibrated into a powder form with a defibrator. [Selection] Figure 1
