A power storage device and a method for manufacturing the power storage device in which the reliability of sealing by a seal portion is improved are provided. According to a power storage device and a manufacturing method thereof, a nesting region 52b of an outer peripheral surface 52a of a first seal portion 52 is sealed by a resin layer 90. Therefore, it is possible to seal the nesting area 52b of the outer peripheral surface 52a with high reliability as compared with the case where the frame bodies 60 of the outer peripheral surface 52a are thermally melted.
