abstract Disclosed are a fine cellulose fiber that is excellent in handleability and can be suitably used as a reinforcing material for a resin, a production method thereof, and a slurry and a composite containing the fine cellulose fiber. The present invention is a fine cellulose fiber having a carbamate group. The degree of substitution of the carbamate group with respect to the hydroxy group in the fine cellulose fiber is preferably 0.05 or more and 0.5 or less. The present invention is a slurry containing the fine cellulose fibers. The present invention is a composite containing the fine cellulose fiber and resin. This invention is a manufacturing method of the fine cellulose fiber provided with the process of heat-processing the mixture of a plant raw material, urea, etc., and the process of refinement | miniaturizing the said plant raw material.
