SOLUTION: An amine compound represented by the following formula (1) and a molybdenum compound are contained, and the molybdenum compound is used as a molybdenum atom in the molybdenum compound with respect to 1 mol of the amine compound in a range of 0.1 to 3 mol. A friction reducing agent characterized by containing. [Chemical 1] [In the above formula (1), R 1 represents a hydrocarbon group having a carbon number a, and R 6 represents a hydrocarbon group having a carbon number b (where a and b are each independently an integer of 1 to 30).
