A purification method and apparatus for removing odors, unnecessary components, impurities, and the like from a solution containing a solid content without adding other components so as not to impair nutritional balance, flavor, and the like. A solution containing a solid content is separated into a concentrated liquid and a filtrate having a high solid content in advance, and the filtrate is subjected to a purification treatment, and the filtrate and the concentrated liquid subjected to the purification treatment are mixed.
