A method for predicting whether a patient will be a long-term survivor for disease treatment by adoptive cell transfer (ACT): (i) for one or more prognostic markers of long-term survival for disease treatment by ACT; And (ii) predicting whether the patient will be a long-term survivor for disease treatment with ACT, based on the analysis of step (i), wherein the disease is preferably Epstein- Said method comprising the step of being caused or exacerbated by infection with a bar virus (EBV), eg EBV positive nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC).
