titleOfInvention Perfusion digital subtraction angiography
abstract An apparatus and methodological framework called perfusion angiography is provided for quantitative analysis and visualization of blood flow parameters from DSA images. Based on the deconvolution of the time density curve in the form of one pixel at a time, the cerebral blood flow (CBF) and cerebral blood volume (CBV), average transit time (MTT), peak arrival time ( TTP) as well as parameters including T max are calculated. Multivariate gamma components can be used to define individual contrast agent concentration curves for overlapping blood vessels. Each extracted parameter is converted into a target parametric map, and the parametric map can be colored with different colors to represent parameter values within a particular set range. The parametric map aligned with the corresponding DSA image allows evaluation and status diagnosis by an expert.
