titleOfInvention | Optical physiological sensor and method |
abstract | Physiological sensors and application methods are described. These sensors function by detecting recently discovered changes in the spectral optical density of two or more wavelengths of light diffused through the skin. The sensor is a first means for emitting a first wavelength, wherein the first means for emitting the first wavelength is configurable to emit a first target wavelength between 650 nm and 670 nm, and emits a second wavelength. A second means, wherein the second means for emitting the second wavelength is configurable to emit a second target wavelength from 840 nm to 860 nm, the first means for emitting the first wavelength, and the second means for emitting the second wavelength Detecting means optically separated from the second means; and processor means configured to receive an input from the detecting means. |
