The clinical use of chimeric poliovirus constructs in humans has demonstrated excellent antitumor effects. In combination with an immune checkpoint inhibitor, its anti-tumor effect is increased. Various types of tumors, including but not limited to melanoma, glioblastoma, renal cell carcinoma, prostate cancer, breast cancer, lung cancer, medulloblastoma and colorectal cancer, are sensitive to this combination therapy. |
