titleOfInvention Cryopreservation of ungulate embryos
abstract Techniques for cryopreserving ungulate embryos for transplantation into recipient females are described. Obtaining an in vitro produced (IVP) ungulate embryo, cryopreserving said embryo, and transplanting the embryo for implantation in a recipient ungulate, comprising: The method wherein the cryopreservation and the transplant are performed such that a pregnancy rate of at least about 10% is achieved. Obtaining a cryopreserved embryo, wherein an in vitro produced (IVP) ungulate embryo is obtained, and when the embryo is transplanted into a recipient ungulate, a pregnancy rate of at least about 10% is achieved. Cryopreserved embryos produced by the method comprising: cryopreserving under such conditions.
