abstract The present invention relates to a heat sink for improving space utilization and a battery module including the heat sink. A heat sink for cooling a cell assembly including one or more unit cells according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a first cooling channel through which a coolant passes, and is coupled to one side of the cell assembly. 1 heat sink, and the 2nd heat sink which the 2nd cooling flow path through which a refrigerant passes is formed, and couples with the other side of the cell assembly is included. The present invention secures the Z-axis space of the battery pack without increasing the height of the battery pack by coupling heat sinks to both side surfaces of the cell assembly.
