titleOfInvention Methods and compositions for low addictive anticholinergic esters
abstract Oral formulations comprising low addictive anticholinergic alkyl esters are useful for treating excessive fluency in subjects such as humans suffering from hypersalivation. Preferably, the at least one low toxic anticholinergic ester is provided in an amount or concentration effective in an anhydrous oral formulation that can inhibit excessive salivation resulting from a condition known as hypersalivation. The compositions herein contain at least one low toxic anticholinergic agent (which is a low toxic ester analog of glycopyrrolate as described in more detail below). In an effective amount or concentration that inhibits excessive salivation or hypersalivation.
