abstract | Lactic acid or lactic acid is polymerized, and when the remaining monomer is 1 to 8 mol% with respect to the total amount of added monomers, phenol having steric hindrance is added and subjected to additional reaction to cause heavy polymerization. A polymerization step for obtaining a coalescence; a cooling step for obtaining pellets from the polymer; and an inert gas flowing into the reactor containing the pellets at a rate of 0.001 to 0.5 L / min ยท g while heating. The present invention relates to a method for producing polylactic acid including a residual monomer removing step. According to the method for producing polylactic acid, it is possible to provide high-quality polylactic acid by effectively removing residual monomers while minimizing changes in the physical properties of polylactic acid. |
