abstract |
A method and related apparatus for separating metal organic structures (MOFs) from solution. The method includes preparing a MOF-containing solution and bringing the MOF-containing solution into contact with the acoustic reflector surface so that any high frequency ultrasound applied within the MOF-containing solution is reflected to the acoustic reflector surface. And applying high frequency ultrasound of at least 20 kHz to the MOF-containing solution. The MOF material is substantially separated from the solution as an aggregated precipitate that precipitates from the solution. [Selection] Figure 1A |
