titleOfInvention | Waste beer collection |
abstract | The present invention relates to a method for recovering beer during a beer brewing process. In this method, the yeast entrained in the beer 36 is recovered from the fermentation process 32. The yeast is separated from the beer to give recovered beer 42. The recovered beer 42 is passed through an ultraviolet (UV) light sterilizer 46 to provide a sterilized recovered beer 48 that is recycled to the fermentation process 32. The present invention uses ultraviolet light to achieve microbially safe beer recovered from surplus yeast, which is recycled back to the brewing process, thereby not only water loss but also financial Even savings.
