abstract | The network slave device includes a transmission / reception device for communicating on a communication bus according to a point-to-point network protocol. The network slave device may include an address for identifying a network slave device on the network. The network slave device is configured to process the command received by the transceiver and generate a reply for transmission on the communication bus if the address contained in the command matches the slave device address. Communication circuitry may also be included. A master device communicating on the network may send a command including the address of the slave device according to a point-to-point network protocol. In an embodiment, the point-to-point protocol is a SENT protocol. |
