abstract | The present invention relates to certain new methods for selecting epitopes for antibodies. The present invention also relates to a method for producing an antibody against a protein (eg, a functional antibody), the method comprising (i) contacting the protein with at least one protease to subject the protein to limited proteolysis or limited proteolysis.
