The present disclosure discloses a method of treating bladder cancer in a patient in need of treatment by administering to the patient a prodrug of mitomycin C in an amount that produces a therapeutically effective amount of mitomycin C. In one embodiment, the prodrug of mitomycin C is a liposomal prodrug of mitomycin C. In another embodiment, the liposomal prodrug of mitomycin C is a folate-targeted liposomal prodrug of mitomycin C. |
