A pressure sensitive adhesive is provided which is a dried latex composition formed from an emulsion composition. Latex compositions and emulsion compositions are also provided. The emulsion composition has droplets containing (meth) acrylate polymer dissolved in various monomers in addition to the various monomers. Further provided are articles containing a layer of pressure sensitive adhesive and a method of forming the pressure sensitive adhesive. Pressure sensitive adhesives often have both high peel adhesion strength and high shear strength (ie, high cohesion or high shear retention). [Selection] Figure 1 |
