A multimodal polymer blend of at least three fractions as determined by TREF is provided. The blend includes a first propylene-based polymer, a second propylene-based polymer, and a third propylene-based polymer; when subjected to TREF, the polymer blend is soluble in xylene at −15 ° C. and is about 55 mol% to A first fraction having about 85 mol% isotactic (mm) triad tacticity; a second fraction that is insoluble in xylene or dichlorobenzene at −5 ° C. and soluble in xylene or dichlorobenzene at 40 ° C .; and 70 Figure 3 shows a third fraction insoluble in xylene or dichlorobenzene at 0C and having about 85 mol% to about 98 mol% isotactic (mm) triad tacticity. Also provided are a hot melt adhesive composition comprising a polymer blend, a tackifier, a wax and optionally a nucleating agent, an article comprising the adhesive, and a method of making the article. |
