abstract The present invention relates to an active material suitable for the production of electrodes, in particular electrodes for Li-S batteries. The active material according to the invention comprises carbon nanofillers uniformly dispersed in the material of the sulfur material, which can be obtained by a method involving melting in the presence of strong mechanical energy. The amount of carbon nanofiller in the active material accounts for 1 to 25% by weight relative to the total weight of the active material. The active material according to the invention makes it possible to improve the electronic conductivity of the composition of the electrode.
