titleOfInvention | Novel phytase, method for obtaining the same and use thereof |
abstract | The present invention relates generally to new and improved nucleic acid sequences encoding polypeptides or proteins having phytase enzyme activity and methods for effectively expressing such enzymes in host cells. In a first aspect, the present invention comprises i) a nucleotide sequence according to SEQ ID NO: 1 encoding a protein having phytase activity, or ii) at least relative to a nucleotide sequence according to SEQ ID NO: 1 encoding a protein having phytase activity It relates to an isolated nucleic acid molecule having 83% sequence identity. The invention also relates to an expression construct or vector comprising the isolated nucleic acid molecule described above. The present invention further provides a method for producing a protein having phytase enzyme activity, comprising: a) a host cell; i) an expression regulator that is functional in said host cell; and ii) operable on said factor Introducing a vector comprising a nucleic acid molecule according to the invention linked to b), b) culturing the host cell obtained in step a) under conditions suitable for expression of said protein, and optionally c ) A method comprising recovering the protein produced in step b) from the cell culture. The invention further relates to the protein obtained by the method according to the invention and to its use for producing animal feed additives. |
