titleOfInvention | Porous polymers for reducing and purifying semiconductor gases and for removing mercury from hydrocarbon streams |
abstract | A porous material comprising a metal organic structure (MOF) and a porous organic polymer (POP), wherein (a) a semiconductor gas in a semiconductor gas-containing effluent is substantially removed or reduced, For semiconductors to have reactivity with semiconductor gas or adsorption affinity for semiconductor gas, or (b) to substantially remove contaminants from the semiconductor gas stream and increase the purity of the semiconductor gas Having reactivity with pollutants in the gas stream or adsorption affinity to pollutants in the semiconductor gas stream, or (c) substantially removing trace mercury pollutants in the hydrocarbon stream and hydrocarbons A porous material having reactivity with the mercury pollutant or adsorption affinity for the mercury pollutant in order to increase the purity of the stream. MOF is a coordination product between a metal ion and a polydentate organic ligand, whereas POP is a polymerization product between organic monomers. |
