abstract | The present invention provides a barium dititanate-based composite oxide in which current leakage is suppressed and a simple manufacturing method thereof. A two barium titanate based composite oxide according to one embodiment of the present invention, (Ba 1-x (A ) x) (Ti 1-y1-y2 (B1) y1 (B2) y2) 2 O 5 + z (A) is at least one element selected from the group consisting of Ca, Rb, Sr, Cs, Fr and Ra, and (B1) is Nb, Ta, And (B2) is at least one element selected from the group consisting of Fe, Co, Ni, Ge, Se, Zr, Pd, Sn, and Hf. X is 0 or more and less than 0.5, y 1 is 0 or more and less than 0.1, y 2 is greater than 0 and less than 0.5, and y 1 + y 2 is greater than 0 and less than 0. And z is 0 or more and y 1 or less.
